Sponsoring Box Rally 2023

Neu Capital was pleased to sponsor Decarbonaterz in the 2023 Shitbox Rally 2023 Summer. The team driving from Rockhampton to Hobart.

This rally, in its 14th year now, stands as the largest community-led fundraiser for the Cancer Council in Australia. All proceeds generated from this initiative contribute to the Cancer Council’s vital work.

Shitbox Rally is the adventure of a lifetime challenging participants and their cars, worth no more than $1,500, on a 7 day drive across Australia to raise money for cancer research.

As part of their involvement, each team undertakes the challenge of raising a minimum of $5,000, though many surpass this target. The 2023 Summer rally target was set at $2,000,000 plus.

The rally is not a race but rather a fun adventure with participants travelling at their own pace in smaller groups. It’s also an incredible opportunity to see Australia’s vast and beautiful countryside and make lifelong friends, many brought together after experiencing cancer themselves or seeing cancer impact family and friends.

Over the last 14 years, Box Rallies have raised over $41 million for the Cancer Council.
